CREATING CUSTOM TAGS
Custom tags are a way for you to categorize legislators and staff members based on labels that you create and assign. First, to create a tag, go to a legislator's or staffer's page. Under their name and position, click the button. Enter in what you would like the custom tag text to be, and hit Enter/Return. Add as many tags as you would like.
FILTERING WITH CUSTOM TAGS
Use custom tags to filter legislators and staff members when creating or editing a list, or when filtering search results. Go to the custom tags filter at the bottom of the filters list and click. If the text field, type in a custom tag name to sort the results in the list. As you begin to type in the custom tag, the system will present the possible tags that have been saved in a dropdown. Click on the tag to have it used to filter the list and view the people who have that tag assigned to their profile page. You can filter as many tags as you need.
Lastly, when creating a list, you will also to be able to identify custom tags that have been assigned to profiles without having to click into the profile.
